I. Program Overview

As an important non-metallic mineral resource, barite (BaSO₄) has a wide range of applications in oil drilling, chemical raw materials, fillers and other fields. For different grades of barite ore, we provide three main barite beneficiation process solutions: gravity separation, magnetic separation and flotation, which can be flexibly combined and applied according to the characteristics of the ore and product requirements. Through the optimization of barite process design, we can achieve high quality products with BaSO₄ content ≥95% and whiteness ≥90%.

Second, barite beneficiation process flow

1. Gravity beneficiation dominant process

   • Applicable conditions:

     • Coarse grain embedded (+0.5mm)

     • BaSO₄content≥30%

   • Process flow:

     • Two-stage crushing (jaw + cone)

     • Circular vibrating screen classification

     • Jigging separation (coarse and fine grains are treated separately)

   • Technical index:

     • Concentrate BaSO₄≥85

2. Magnetic separation and iron removal process

   • Applicable conditions:

     • Iron-containing impurities (rhodochrosite, etc.)

     • Pharmaceutical grade product requirements

   • Process Flow:

     • Wet high gradient magnetic separation (1.0-1.5T)

     • Multi-stage magnetic separation and purification

   • Iron removal effect:

     • Fe₂O₃content≤0.5%

3. Flotation purification process

   • Applicable conditions:

     • Fine-grained embedded (-0.074mm)

     • Low-grade ore (BaSO₄ 8-15%)

   • Pharmacy system:

     • Anionic capture agent (fatty acids)

     • Cationic recovery agent (amine)

   • Technical specifications:

     • Concentrate BaSO₄ ≥95%
