Vibrating Feeder (Grizzly Feeder)

The Vibrating Feeder (CZG Series) is the essential "throat" of any crushing plant. It is designed to feed blocky and granular materials uniformly and continuously into the Jaw Crusher.

Equipped with Grizzly Bars at the discharge end, it pre-screens fine soil and waste before crushing, increasing the system's efficiency. It is widely used in Stone Crushing Plants, sand making, and mineral processing.

Working Principle: Linear Vibration & Pre-screening

Feeding large rocks while removing fines in one step.

Excitation

The motor drives the eccentric block (vibrator) to produce a strong linear excitation force. The trough vibrates back and forth on the springs.

Throwing Motion

Material in the trough is tossed up and moves forward continuously. This "jump and move" action ensures loose and uniform feeding.

Grizzly Screening

At the discharge end, Grizzly Bars separate fine soil/sand from large rocks. Fines bypass the crusher, reducing wear and energy consumption.

A: You can adjust the speed by using a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to change motor speed, or mechanically by adjusting the angle of the eccentric blocks to change vibration amplitude.

Q: What is the installation angle?

A: For maximum capacity, we recommend installing the feeder at a 10-15° downward slope. This helps gravity assist the material flow.

Q: Are the grizzly bars adjustable?

A: Yes. The gap between the grizzly bars can be adjusted to determine the size of material that passes through (bypass), effectively pre-screening the feed.
