The Centrifugal Concentrator is a high-efficiency gravity separator designed to recover Fine Gold (Free Gold). By generating a centrifugal force of 60G-100G, it can capture gold particles as small as 20 microns.
It is the standard equipment for modern Alluvial Gold and Rock Gold plants, replacing traditional mercury amalgamation with an eco-friendly and high-yield solution.
Spinning at high speed to multiply the gravity effect, separating heavy gold from light sand.
Slurry enters the spinning cone. The centrifugal force pushes heavy particles (Gold) outward against the cone wall, while light particles (Sand) float in the center.
Back-pressure water is injected through holes in the riffles. This fluidizes the mineral bed, keeping it loose so heavy gold can penetrate and settle.
Tailings overflow continuously. Concentrate remains trapped in the riffles. During the wash cycle (batch type), the concentrate is flushed out into a secure tank.

We offer two types of centrifugal concentrators. Which one do you need?
| Feature | Knelson Type (STL Series) | Falcon Type (STLB Series) |
|---|---|---|
| Discharge Mode | Batch (Intermittent). | Semi-Continuous or Continuous. |
| Enrichment Ratio | Very High (1000:1). | High. |
| Application | Placer Gold, Rock Gold Grinding Circuit. | Scavenging, Fine Mineral Recovery. |
| Automation | Automatic Discharge System. | Manual or Auto. |
Capable of recovering free gold down to 30 microns. The recovery rate for placer gold can exceed 98%, far better than sluice boxes.
The enrichment ratio can reach up to 1000 times. A small amount of high-grade concentrate is produced, making final cleaning easy.
A purely physical separation process that uses no chemicals or mercury. It is the green alternative for artisanal and small-scale mining.

| Model | Capacity (t/h) | Feed Size (mm) | Water (m³/h) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| STL-20 | 0.5 - 2 | < 3 | 2 - 3 | 0.75 |
| STL-30 | 3 - 5 | < 3 | 4 - 6 | 1.5 |
| STL-60 | 8 - 15 | < 5 | 8 - 12 | 4.0 |
| STL-80 | 25 - 45 | < 5 | 25 - 35 | 11 |
| STL-100 | 50 - 80 | < 5 | 40 - 50 | 18.5 |
| STL-120 | 80 - 120 | < 5 | 50 - 70 | 30 |

A: For batch-type (STL), the cycle time is typically 45-60 minutes, depending on the grade of the feed. The discharge process takes about 2-3 minutes.
A: Yes, the fluidization water must be clean (filtered) to prevent clogging the small holes in the cone. We provide a water filter with the machine.
A: The concentrate from the centrifuge is high-grade but small in volume. You can upgrade it further using a Shaking Table or Amalgamation Barrel to get pure gold.
A: Yes, the Centrifugal Concentrator is compact and has low vibration compared to jigs, making it perfect for mounting on mobile trailers or skids.
