Heavy-Duty Jaw Crusher for Primary Crushing

The Jaw Crusher is the indispensable primary crushing equipment in mining. It is designed to crush hard rocks with compressive strength up to 320MPa, such as Granite, Basalt, and Limestone.

Working Principle: Squeezing & Crushing

The motor drives the movable jaw plate to move periodically towards the fixed jaw plate, crushing the stone like a giant nutcracker.

Feeding

Large raw boulders (up to 1200mm) are fed into the crushing chamber by a Vibrating Feeder.

Crushing Action

The eccentric shaft drives the Movable Jaw to approach the Fixed Jaw. The material is crushed by squeezing, splitting, and bending.

Discharging

When the movable jaw retreats, the crushed material falls down. If it meets the size requirement, it is discharged to the Cone Crusher.

Q: How long do the Jaw Plates last?

A: It depends on rock hardness. For hard granite, movable jaw plates typically last 3-5 months. We use High Manganese Steel (Mn13Cr2) to extend life.

Q: What if the crusher gets blocked?

A: Our Jaw Crusher is designed with a deep cavity to minimize blockage. If it happens, stop feeding immediately. Never use an iron bar to poke the ore while the machine is running.
