Product Inquiry

Tin Alluvial Ore Production Line Solution is designed for the efficient recovery of Cassiterite from placer deposits.

This solution utilizes a "Gravity Separation" based process. By employing Trommel Screens, Jigs, and Shaking Tables, it effectively recovers tin concentrate from sand and clay, offering low investment and high recovery rates.

What Is Tin Alluvial Beneficiation?

Tin Alluvial Beneficiation is the process of extracting heavy Cassiterite (Tin Oxide) minerals from riverbeds or coastal sands. Unlike rock tin, it requires no grinding. The core process involves washing away clay and using gravity separators to concentrate the heavy tin minerals.

Alluvial Tin Process Steps

Step 1: Washing & Screening

Goal: Remove large rocks and wash off sticky clay.

  • Washing: Rotary Scrubber or Trommel Screen with high-pressure water breaks up clay balls.
  • Screening: Separates large waste gravel (>6mm) from the tin-bearing sand.

Step 2: Roughing (Gravity Separation)

Goal: Concentrate heavy minerals and discard light sand.

Jigging:
Uses Jig Machine for coarse tin recovery. High capacity and continuous operation.
Spiral Separation:
Uses Spiral Chute for fine sand separation. No power required.

Step 3: Concentration & Dewatering

  • Concentration: Shaking Table upgrades the rough concentrate to high-grade tin (60-70% Sn).
  • Dewatering: Tailings are dewatered for dry stacking or backfilling.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: How do you handle high clay content?

A: Clay can trap tin particles. We use a Rotary Scrubber with lifters and high-pressure water to thoroughly wash and disintegrate the clay before screening.

Q2: What is the processing capacity?

A: Our plants are modular. A single line can process anywhere from 50 t/h to 500 t/h. For larger projects, multiple lines are used in parallel.

Q3: Can this process recover other minerals?

A: Yes. Alluvial tin often co-exists with heavy minerals like Zircon, Ilmenite, and Gold. Gravity separation concentrates all these heavy minerals together, which can then be separated by magnetic or electrostatic methods.
