The Sawtooth Wave Jig is a new type of gravity separation equipment. Unlike traditional jigs, its pulsation curve resembles a sawtooth wave, which makes the upward water flow faster than the downward flow.
This unique characteristic enhances the looseness of the bed and improves suction, leading to higher recovery of fine heavy minerals. It is widely used in Barite, Manganese, Gold, and Tin beneficiation.
The key lies in the asymmetric pulsation curve generated by the cam mechanism.
The water rises quickly, lifting the entire mineral bed. This short, strong pulse fully loosens the sand bed, allowing heavy particles to settle.
The water drops slowly. This extends the settling time for heavy minerals and creates a strong suction action to pull fine heavy particles through the screen.
Density-based layers form: Heavy minerals at the bottom (Concentrate), light minerals at the top (Tailings). Both are discharged separately.

Why upgrade to Sawtooth Wave? Here is the comparison:
| Feature | Sawtooth Wave Jig (Modern) | Sine Wave Jig (Traditional) |
|---|---|---|
| Water Consumption | Low (Saves 30-40%). | High (Needs backwater). |
| Fine Recovery | Excellent (Strong suction). | Poor (Loss of fines). |
| Capacity | High. | Medium. |
| Floor Space | Compact (Saves 1/3 space). | Large. |
Data shows Sn recovery increased by 3.01%, W by 5.5%, and Pb by 1.63% compared to traditional jigs. It is the best choice for valuable minerals.
Thanks to the sawtooth curve, the need for under-screen make-up water is significantly reduced, saving 30-40% water, ideal for arid areas.
Capable of handling both fine sand (0-2mm) and coarse ore (up to 30mm). We use "screen-on discharge" for lumps and "screen-under discharge" for fines.

| Model | Area (m²) | Feed Size (mm) | Capacity (t/h) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JT1070/2 | 1.4 | < 12 | 6 - 12 | 2.2 |
| JT1515/2 (Popular) | 2.25 | < 6 | 10 - 15 | 3.0 |
| JT2-2 (Large) | 4.0 | < 30 | 20 - 25 | 4.0 |
| JT4-2 | 8.0 | < 30 | 35 - 45 | 7.5 |
| JT5-2 | 10.0 | < 30 | 45 - 60 | 11 |

A: For fine minerals, concentrate passes through the screen mesh and discharges from the bottom (Hutch water). For coarse minerals, concentrate is discharged from the top screen surface (Screen-on discharge).
A: The jig requires a steady water supply for pulsation. Water consumption is about 2.5 - 3 m³ per ton of ore, but much of it can be recycled.
A: Yes. Our jig is equipped with an electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, allowing stepless adjustment of stroke and frequency (Strokes per minute) to suit different minerals.
