PF Series Impact Crusher (Secondary Crushing)

The Impact Crusher is a high-efficiency secondary crusher designed for processing medium-hard materials (Compressive strength ≤ 350MPa) like Limestone, Concrete, and Coal Gangue.

Working Principle: High-Speed Impact

The material is crushed by repeated impact and collision inside the crushing chamber.

Primary Impact

Material enters the chamber and is instantly struck by the high-speed rotating Plate Hammer (Blow Bar) , receiving the first crushing energy.

Counter-Attack

The crushed material is thrown at high speed against the Impact Plates (Aprons) on the top, causing secondary fragmentation.

Discharge

This process repeats until the material reaches the desired size and falls through the discharge opening to the Vibrating Screen.

Q: Can Impact Crusher process Granite?

A: It is not recommended as the primary crusher for very hard granite, as the blow bars will wear out quickly. For granite, we recommend using a Cone Crusher. Impact crusher is best for Limestone or soft/medium hard rocks.
