The Rotary Scrubber (Drum Scrubber) is the most powerful washing equipment for ores with high clay content and sticky mud. It is essential for Alluvial Gold, Manganese, and Bauxite processing.
Unlike a normal Trommel Screen, the Scrubber has a longer, non-perforated scrubbing section where rocks tumble and grind against each other to break up tough clay agglomerates.
Utilizing the friction between rocks and the lifting action of the drum to disintegrate clay.
Ore and water enter the drum. The material soaks in the water while being lifted by the internal liners.
As the drum rotates, rocks fall and collide. This "stone washing stone" action breaks down the sticky clay matrix, liberating valuable minerals.
The slurry moves to the rear trommel screen section. Oversized clean rocks are discharged, while fine pulp passes through the mesh for concentration.

Both are for washing, but they suit different materials:
| Feature | Rotary Scrubber | Log Washer (Spiral) |
|---|---|---|
| Material Size | Large Rocks (up to 230mm). | Medium/Fine (< 70mm). |
| Clay Content | High (Sticky Plastic Clay). | Medium. |
| Screening Function | Yes (Rear Trommel). | No (Washing only). |
| Capacity | Large (up to 180t/h). | Medium (up to 100t/h). |
Designed specifically for washing ores with clay content > 30%. The long retention time inside the drum ensures complete disintegration of clay balls.
Supported by 4 heavy trunnion rollers. The drum is lined with Rubber or Steel plates to protect the shell from wear and impact.
The discharge end features a polyurethane (PU) or steel trommel screen, allowing washing and sizing in a single machine, saving space and cost.

| Model | Drum Size (m) | Feed Size (mm) | Capacity (t/h) | Power (kW) |

A: The water consumption is typically 1-2 times the ore volume (1-2 m³/ton). For very sticky clay, more water may be needed. Recycled water can be used.
A: Yes. We offer both Gear Drive (Standard) and Rubber Tire Drive. Tire drive is smoother, quieter, and has lower maintenance costs.
A: Rubber liners typically last 2-3 years, while steel liners last 1-2 years depending on abrasiveness. Rubber liners are better for scrubbing efficiency.
Don't let sticky clay lose your gold. Choose OreSolution Rotary Scrubber for efficient washing.
