The Dewatering Sieve is a high-frequency vibrating screen designed for reducing the moisture content of sand, tailings, and coal slime. It features a unique Negative Inclination (climbing) angle.
It is the standard equipment for dry discharge of Tailings and final dewatering of washed sand in Silica Sand Plants, achieving a final moisture as low as 12-15%.
Dual motor synchronization creates a linear force to throw water off.
Slurry is fed onto the steep back section (45°). Water drains quickly. A thin bed of sand forms, acting as a natural filter for fine particles.
The main deck has a Negative Angle (-5°). The vibration force pushes the material to climb uphill, extending the dewatering time and squeezing out water.
Under high-frequency vibration, water passes through the PU screen mesh. The dry sand cake is discharged from the front end.

Why can't I use a normal screen for dewatering?
| Feature | Dewatering Screen (TS) | Circular Vibrating Screen (YK) |
|---|---|---|
| Motion Trajectory | Linear (Back & Forth). | Circular. |
| Deck Angle | Upward (+5°). | Downward (-15°). |
| Function | Water Removal. | Size Classification. |
| Frequency | High Frequency. | Standard Frequency. |
Equipped with modular Polyurethane (PU) screen panels. They last 5 times longer than metal mesh and are non-blinding (resist clogging).
Uses two vibration motors with self-synchronization technology. This ensures stable linear motion and allows for adjustable vibration amplitude.
The screen box is riveted (no welding stress) and made of thickened steel plate to withstand high G-force vibration without cracking.
| Model | Area (m²) | Mesh Size (mm) | Capacity (t/h) | Power (kW) |

| TS0720 | 1.4 | 0.2 - 2 | 20 - 35 | 2 × 0.75 |
| TS0920 | 1.8 | 0.2 - 2 | 30 - 50 | 2 × 1.1 |
| TS1020 | 2.0 | 0.2 - 2 | 40 - 60 | 2 × 1.5 |

A: For clean sand, it can reach 12-15%. For fine tailings, it is usually 15-20%. The material is dry enough for conveyor transport.
A: Yes, Stainless Steel mesh is available for high-temperature or special applications. However, PU panels last much longer and are standard for sand dewatering.
A: Yes, but you need a Hydrocyclone before the screen to thicken the feed. The screen works best with high-concentration feed (above 40% density).
