GX High Efficiency Thickener

The GX Type High Efficiency Thickener is a new generation of solid-liquid separation equipment. Unlike traditional thickeners, it features a De-aeration Tank and a longer central feeding well, significantly increasing the settling speed.

With a processing capacity 3-5 times higher than ordinary thickeners, it is widely used for high-concentration tailings discharge and concentrate dewatering in Gold, Copper, and Zinc plants.

Working Principle: De-aeration & Deep Settling

Removing air bubbles to accelerate particle settling.

De-aeration

Slurry first enters the external De-aeration Tank. Air bubbles attached to solid particles are removed, preventing them from floating and ensuring fast settling.

Deep Feeding

The slurry is fed deep into the tank (below the settling layer) via a long feeding well. This prevents turbulence in the overflow zone.

Compression

Flocculant is added to form large flocs. The deep sludge bed compresses the solids, achieving a higher underflow density (up to 70%).
