Cone Crusher is the "King of Hard Rock Crushing". It utilizes the Lamination Crushing Principle to process hard and abrasive ores like Granite, Basalt, Iron Ore, and River Pebbles.
OreSolution offers both classic PY Series Spring Cone Crusher and modern Hydraulic Cone Crusher. Featuring an intelligent hydraulic clearing system and overload protection, it ensures continuous high-yield production.
Unlike impact crushers, Cone Crushers crush rock by squeezing it between an eccentrically gyrating mantle and a concave.
Material from the Jaw Crusher enters the crushing chamber uniformly through the distribution plate.
Uniform feeding is critical to prevent uneven wear on the mantle and concave. The Mantle (Moving Cone) gyrates eccentrically. Rocks are squeezed not only against the wall but also against each other , producing a finer and more cubic product.
Crushed material falls freely when the mantle swings away. The product is then sent to the Vibrating Screen or Ball Mill.

We offer different types of Cone Crushers. Which one fits your budget and capacity?
| Feature | PY Spring Cone Crusher | Hydraulic Cone Crusher |
|---|---|---|
| Technology | Traditional Spring Release. | Advanced Hydraulic Cylinder. |
| Automation | Manual Adjustment. | Fully Automatic (PLC). |
| Clearing Chamber | Difficult (Time-consuming). | Instant Hydraulic Clearing. |
| Cost | Lower Investment. | Higher Performance. |
The hydraulic safety system automatically releases iron or unbreakable materials from the crushing chamber, preventing machine damage and reducing downtime.
The combination of high swing frequency and optimized cavity shape results in higher capacity and finer end products.
We provide three cavity types: Standard (PYB) for medium crushing, Medium (PYZ) for fine crushing, and Short Head (PYD) for ultra-fine crushing.

| Model | Cone Dia. (mm) | Max Feed (mm) | Output Range (mm) | Capacity (t/h) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PYB-600 | 600 | 65 | 12 - 25 | 40 | 30 |
| PYD-600 | 600 | 35 | 3 - 13 | 23 | 30 |
| PYB-900 | 900 | 115 | 15 - 50 | 50 - 90 | 55 |
| PYZ-900 | 900 | 60 | 5 - 20 | 20 - 65 | 55 |
| PYB-1200 | 1200 | 145 | 20 - 50 | 110 - 168 | 110 |
| PYB-1750 | 1750 | 215 | 25 - 50 | 280 - 480 | 160 |
| PYB-2200 | 2200 | 300 | 30 - 60 | 590 - 1000 | 260 - 280 |
A: They represent different crushing chambers. PYB (Standard) is for secondary crushing (coarser output). PYZ (Medium) is for medium crushing. PYD (Short Head) is for fine crushing (finer output).
A: Yes. Our Cone Crusher is equipped with a Spring or Hydraulic safety system. When unbreakable material (like iron) enters, the support sleeve lifts up to let it pass through without damaging the machine.
A: Cone crushers perform best with dry or slightly moist materials. High moisture or sticky clay may reduce crushing efficiency and cause blockage. Pre-screening is recommended.
