Process Overview

Zircon sand beneficiation production line adopts the combined process route of "outdoor wet roughing + indoor dry concentrating", which is designed for zircon in beach sand ore and river alluvial sand ore. Through the combination of multi-stage gravity separation, magnetic separation and electrostatic beneficiation, this zircon sand production line can realize the efficient enrichment and purification of zircon sand, and the content of the final product ZrO₂ can be more than 65%.

Outdoor wet rougher system

1. Pre-treatment section

   • Uniform feeding from silo

   • Tumbler screen classifying and removing impurities (2-5mm)

2. Gravity enrichment section

   • Spiral chute rougher (feed concentration 30-40%)

   • Spiral chute sweeping (15-20% increase in recovery)

3. Magnetic separation and iron removal section

   • Multi-roll wet magnetic separator (field strength 1200-8000 gauss)

   • Removal of ilmenite, garnet and other magnetic minerals

4. Shaking table selection section

   • 6-S shaking table selection

   • Produce coarse zircon sand concentrate (ZrO₂ 50-55%)
