Disc Feeder (ZC Series)

Product Overview

Disc feeder is a feeding equipment specially designed for the treatment of powder ore with particle size below 20mm. The equipment is easy to install and the feeding quantity can be precisely adjusted by adjusting the scraper position. There are two types of products: open type is suitable for feeding dry and loose materials; closed type is specially designed for ores with high sludge content, high water content and strong viscosity, and the structure is relatively complicated.

This series of disc feeder is widely used in mineral processing plant, smelting plant, cement plant, sand mine and mechanized casting workshop and other industrial occasions, usually hanging on the steel structural parts, installed below the hopper, to achieve continuous and uniform feeding of materials.

Applicable materials: ore, slag, clinker, limestone, clay, gypsum, slag and other powdery, granular and lumpy materials.
Production capacity: 0-88.4t/h
Maximum feeding size: 50mm

Working Principle of Disc Feeder

The bulk material enters the receiving cylinder from the hopper, and piles up on the surface of the disk along the cylinder wall with the help of self-weight. The gap between the sleeve and the disk is adjusted through the adjusting bolt, which can control the natural stacking angle of the material on the disk surface. During the rotation of the disk, the material is evenly scraped to the outside of the disk by the discharging knife and falls down, and then enters the receiving hopper. The disk continues to run so as to realize uniform feeding. Adjusting the clearance between the discharge knife and the disk can also control the feeding quantity. The equipment is driven by the motor through the belt wheel to drive the worm gear reducer, and finally drive the disk rotation.
