The Dry Roll Magnetic Separator is a high-intensity magnetic separation equipment designed for dry ore processing. It uses powerful*Neodymium (NdFeB) permanent magnets to generate a field strength up to 16000 Gauss.
Ideal for water-scarce areas, it effectively upgrades magnetic minerals like Ilmenite, Manganese, Chromite, and Monazite, or removes iron impurities from Quartz and Feldspar.
Separation based on magnetic susceptibility in a dry free-fall state.
Dry crushed ore (usually <3mm) is fed uniformly onto the rotating magnetic roll via a vibrating feeder.
Magnetic particles are attracted to the roll surface by the strong magnetic force and carried to the underside of the roll.
Non-magnetic particles are thrown off by centrifugal force (parabolic trajectory). Magnetic particles are discharged when they leave the magnetic field zone.

A: The feed material must be free-flowing. Ideally, moisture content should be less than 1%. If it's above 5%, drying equipment (Rotary Dryer) is required.
A: The magnet itself is permanent (fixed strength), but you can adjust the Roll Speed and the Splitter Board position to control the grade and recovery.
A: For simple iron removal, 1 roll is enough. For mineral purification (e.g., Zircon), a 2 or 3-roll system is recommended to separate minerals of different magnetic susceptibilities progressively.
