Mining Belt Conveyor

The Belt Conveyor is the lifeline of any mining or aggregate plant. It provides continuous, high-capacity transport of bulk materials like ore, coal, and sand over long distances.

Our B-Series conveyors are designed for heavy-duty applications, connecting Crushers, Screens, and Stockpiles in a seamless system. Available in widths from 500mm to 1200mm.

Working Principle: Friction Drive

Moving tons of material using friction between the drum and the belt.

Drive

The electric motor drives the Head Pulley (Drive Drum). The friction between the rubber surface of the pulley and the conveyor belt pulls the belt forward.

Carrying

The belt runs on "Trough Idlers" (V-shape rollers) which cup the belt to hold more material and prevent spillage.

Tensioning

A screw take-up or gravity weight at the tail keeps the belt tight, ensuring sufficient friction at the drive pulley to prevent slipping.

Q: What is the maximum inclination angle?

A: For standard belts and common materials (stone, ore), the max angle is 18-20 degrees. If you need steeper angles, you need a Chevron (Patterned) Belt or Sidewall Belt.

Q: How do I choose the belt width?

A: It depends on your required Capacity (t/h) and Max Lump Size. A wider belt can carry more material and larger stones without spillage. Refer to the table above.

Q: Do you supply covers or walkways?

A: Yes. We can provide rain covers (hoods) for outdoor conveyors and maintenance walkways with handrails upon request.
